Track Starts Outdoor Season Ranked in the Top 25

LUBBOCK, Texas - After a successful indoor season, Texas Tech men and women's programs start a highly anticipated outdoor season ranked in the top 25 nationally. The USTFCCCA rankings have the women at 14th and the men are 25th.
The women are the third highest rank Big 12 team. Texas A&M is ranked fourth; Texas is at No. 12, while Kansas and Oklahoma are 15th and 22nd respectively.
The men join a crowded field at No. 25. Eight Big 12 teams are ranked as Okalahoma (11th), Texas (12th), Baylor (14th), Texas A&M (16th), Nebraska (17th), Kansas (18th) and Colorado (21st) are all ranked above the Red Raiders.
