LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's distance medley relay set a new school record after a change in location. It is the second week in a row that the record has been broke.
Weather forced the Tech's DMR to change locations from South Bend, Ind. to Fayetteville, Ark. The relay of Edwin Sang, Zach Plinario, Silas Kemboi and Gilbert Limo ran a NCAA provisional time of 9:45.62. The same group set the record one-week prior at the Big 12 Championships.
Tech will have other athletes at the University of Washington and Iowa State. Finals results and a recap can be found at www.texastech.com.
