Track Signs Ninth Athlete for 2009

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech has signed Sage Lasater a pole vaulter from Stephenville, Texas. Lasater is the fourth women's commitment for 2009.
Lasater is currently a senior at Stephenville HS and is currently the sixth rank high school pole vaulter in the nation. She has a personal best mark of 12'-6" and finished second at the 2007 AAU National Jr. Olympics.
Tech raises its total to nine commitments for the 2009 season.
