Three Red Raiders Running at Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech will be sending Irene Kimaiyo, Sally Kipyego and Gilbert Limo to Stanford, Calif. to compete at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational on Sun. May 4th.

Kimaiyo set the school record at the Drake Relays in the 3K steeplechase, will look to lower her time running against stiff competition. Limo has will also run on the men's side, he has the third fastest time in the Big 12 in the 3K steeplechase. Kipyego returns to run the 10,000-meter at the place she set the NCAA record in the event one year ago.
