Roberts to Compete at World Junior Championships

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech will have Gil Roberts representing the United States at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
Roberts will be apart of the 4x400M relay pool. He finished fourth in the prelims with a time of 46.94 qualifying for finals. The freshman then finished fourth in the finals with a time of 46.43. He will be apart of the six-member 4x400M relay pool heading to Poland.
Michelle Guzman competed in the 5000M placing 12th with a time of 17:42.88. Future Red Raiders who competed were Terra Evans (Phoenix, Ariz.) ran a time of 11.90 in the 100M and 200M time of 24.51. Jamele Mason (Houston, Texas) ran a time of 14.00 in the 110M hurdles and Markus Henderson (Lewisville, Texas) ran a 21.46 in the 200M.
Roberts will head to Bydgoszcz, Poland to compete at the World Junior Championships beginning on July 8th.
