
Roberts Starts 400M Tomorrow at IAAF World Championships

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's Gil Roberts begins competition in the IAAF World Championships tomorrow as the 400M heats begin at 5:50 a.m. C.S.T in Berlin, Germany.
Roberts is in heat five of seven heats and has the fastest time in the heat this season. Berlin is the same city where Jesse Owens in the 1936 Olympics became the first American to win four gold medals. The first three in each heat advance plus the three fastest times.
The 400M semi-finals are scheduled for 11:15 C.S.T. Fans can follow the action live on Versus starting at 12 p.m. or watch online at www.universalsports.com.
