
Red Raiders Move Up to No. 4 in USTFCCCA Rankings

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Red Raiders men's track team moved up to No. 4 in the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association after some great performances at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.
The top performance came from Bryce Brown in the 400M hurdles. He ran a 49.83 and was only beat by the defending NCAA Champion Jeshua Anderson. The time is the third-fastest in the NCAA this season.
Darrell Roddick put himself into the top 10 nationally in the high jump. He cleared the third-best mark in Tech history at 2.19M (7'-2.25"). He is ranked ninth in the NCAA currently.
Bryce Lamb jumped into the fifth spot in the NCAA long jump descending order list. In his first competition of the outdoor season, the freshman jumped 7.75M (25'-5.25") and placed second at the Texas Relays.
Tech is set to host the Texas Tech Invitational this Sat., April 10, at the Terry and Linda Fuller Track Complex.
