Kim Ends Career With 2010 NCAA Championships

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Senior Rosalyn Kim finished her tenure at Texas Tech with a 94th place overall finish at the 2010 NCAA Championships held at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C.
The Lady Raider turned in her best score of the tournament firing a two-over 74 in the final round of play this afternoon. She finished with a total score of 305 after posting rounds of 76, 79, and 76 in the first three rounds.
The Belton, Texas native ends her career as a Lady Raider after returning Texas Tech women's golf to the national scene. The lone senior anchored the young squad this season as she helped Tech advance to its first NCAA Regional since 2008, led the team in the Big 12 Championships with a seventh place finish and hit the highest point of her career with a third-place finish in the East Regional to earn her spot in the NCAA Championships.
"I am very proud of Rosalyn and the career she has had at Texas Tech," said head coach JoJo Robertson. "She has been tremendous for our program and she will definitely be missed next year."
Oklahoma State's Caroline Hedwall captured the individual title in the final round of play after turning in a 4-under 68 to jump the leader, Jennifer Johnson of Arizona State who finished three strokes behind in second place. Purdue's Maude Aimee-LeBlanc and Auburn's Cydney Clanton tied for third place with a 7-under 281 to round out the top three spots.
The Purdue Boilermakers, led by Aimee-LeBlanc, captured the 2010 NCAA Women's Golf team championship trophy while Southern California came in second by one stroke followed by University of Alabama in third place.
