
Alley Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Squad

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's Amanda Alley was named to the second team of COSIDA District 6 track and field team that was selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Alley is majoring in human development and family studies and has a 3.81 cumulative grade-point average. The senior recently finished her eligibility earning all-conference honors eight times. Her career-best jump was in 2007 with her mark of 13'-3.75" (4.05M).
To be eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-District District, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standings at his/her current institution.
