LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's track program was named by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as one of the 151 Division I All-Academic squads for 2010.
The Lady Raiders were one of eight Big 12 schools to earn the distinction. The women's program combined with the men earned the most All-American honors in Tech school history with a total of 32. The women had the 4x100M (outdoors) and distance medley relay (indoors) named All-American for the first time in history.
The squads earned the distinction as a result of being the highest-placing teams with at least a 3.00-cumulative GPA at the most recent NCAA indoor and outdoor championship, respectively.
