Tech to Host Final Indoor Meet

LUBBOCK, Texas - The No. 18 Red Raiders and No. 17 Lady Raider will host the Texas Tech Quad Meet as its final tune-up this Fri., Feb. 18 in the Athletic Training Center starting at 5 p.m.
The meet will be the final meet before Tech heads to the Big 12 Indoor Championships held this year in Lincoln, Neb. Tech will be using it to fine tune its technique.
The teams competing at this meet will be New Mexico Junior College, Wayland Baptist, South Plains, Angelo State and West Texas A&M.
Some races to follow during the meet will be the 400M. The first heat of the women's race will feature Erica Alexander, Taylor Evans and Candace Jackson. The men will be talented as well with Bryce Brown, Jamele Mason and Gil Roberts in the first heat.
The field events and 55M hurdles will both begin at 5 p.m.
