Weygandt Named to Capital One Academic All-District Team

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech sophomore Shade Weygandt was named to the second team of the Capital One Academic All-District team for the first time in her career.
Weygandt was named to the District Six second team for the first time in her career. She was a first-team member of the All-Big 12 Academic team this past season. The sophomore is majoring in psychology.
Weygandt was named honorable mention All-America in the indoor pole vault this last season. She broke the indoor school record (4.40M/14'-5.25") and outdoor school record (4.45M/14'-7.25").
