Brown Advances to Final of 400M Hurdles at US Champs

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's Bryce Brown will run for a spot on the US National team in the 400M hurdles tomorrow at 2:02 p.m. (PST) at the US Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Brown ran a 50.45 in the second heat of the men's 400M hurdles semi-final round and was the final qualifier to the final. He will try to secure a place on the US National team for the IAAF World Championships held in Daegu, South Korea, in August.
Omo Osaghae was unable to advance to the final of the men's 110M hurdles. The senior ran a 13.52 and placed sixth in his heat but was 16th overall.
Bryce Lamb's best jump of the day came on his final attempt of the preliminary round. His mark of 25'-11" (7.90M) placed him ninth but he was unable to advance to the final.
Candace Jackson ran a 23.80 in the women's 200M but was unable to secure a spot in the semi-final round. The sophomore placed 23rd overall.
The men's 400M hurdles will be run tomorrow at 2:02 p.m. (PST). The race will be shown on NBC tomorrow from 4-6 p.m. (CST).
