Final StatsNORMAN, Okla. -- The Texas Tech women's golf team finished its final round at 3-over par to end the OU Schooner Fall Classic in 12th place on Monday at Belmar Golf Club.
No. 49 Tech (294-282-283--859) edged out Florida State by three strokes, TCU by six and Oklahoma by eight. Mississippi State took the team title with a 22-under total.
Senior Stephanie Bertelsen (75-69-68--212) was the low scorer for the Lady Raiders at 2-over par following her two best rounds of the semester. Junior Sarah Brown was close behind at 3-over (74-73-66--213) after firing a team-best 4-under in the final round.
Junior Gennai Goodwin (73-70-74--217) finished at 7-over while Gabby Barker (73-71-75--219) and Elin Arvidsson (74-72-75--221) rounded out the scores.
Tech will have the next two weeks off before heading out to San Antonio for the Alamo Invitational, Oct. 26-28.
