NCAA Rank: No. 16
Lady Raider junior sprinter Cierra White makes her return to the NCAA Championships as a qualifier in the 200-meter dash and as a leg on the 4x400 relay team. White, who received votes on the Bowerman Preseason Watch List, enters the weekend with the No. 16 mark nationally in the 200-meters - a season-best time of 23.43 seconds clocked at the Tyson Invitational. The time led the Big 12 Conference and stands as the second-fastest in school history.
At the Big 12 Indoor Championships, White helped the Lady Raiders to win the program's first Big 12 4x400 Relay Championship in school history. The squad will look to earn Tech's third-straight All-America honor as White - along with current relay members Christen Rivers and Amoy Blake - return from the squad that finished seventh at the 2013 NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville.
In 2013, White earned All-America Second Team honors in the 200-meter dash at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, and was crowned as the Big 12 Champion in the 100-meter dash.
White had a strong performance at the New Mexico Classic earlier this season as she broke the school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.32 seconds in February.
