Red Raiders Earn Third-Straight Top-10 Ranking

The Red Raider track and field team earned its third-straight top-10 ranking Tuesday.

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech men's track and field team earned its third-straight Top-10 ranking as the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its weekly computer rankings today.
The Red Raiders appeared at No. 10 while the Lady Raiders appeared at No. 17 as Texas Tech prepares to compete at both the prestigious Penn Relays and the West Texas A&M Classic this weekend.
Texas Tech boasts the highest ranked men's team in the Big 12, while the Red Raiders and Lady Raiders have each been ranked inside the top-20 throughout the length of the current outdoor season. Tech is one of three Big 12 teams with both its men's and women's teams currently ranked in the Top-20.
Action at the prestigious Penn Relays is scheduled to begin Thursday with the West Texas A&M Classic set for Saturday in Canyon, Texas.
