MAHOMES RUSHES FOR A PAIR OF TOUCHDOWNS IN ROAD VICTORY
? Mahomes rushed for a pair of rushing touchdown for the second-straight week as he has now scampered to the endzone four times already this season. It is the most rushing touchdowns for a Red Raider quarterback since Seth Doege also had four in 2011.
? Dating back to the 2000 season, Texas Tech has not had a quarterback rush for multiple rushing touchdowns in back-to-back games.
NOTING THE RED RAIDERS
? Tevin Madison picked off his second career interception with 8:03 remaining in the first quarter. The interception marked Texas Tech's third of the season.
? Jakeem Grant completed the first pass of his career with 7:52 remaining in the second quarter as he found Reginald Davis on a trick play down the right side for 72 yards. Grant has now thrown a touchdown pass, rushed for a touchdown, caught a touchdown and returned a kickoff for a touchdown this season alone. He is believed to be the first Red Raider in school history to do so in a career.
? Reginald Davis' 72-yard touchdown reception marked the longest of his career. His previous long was a 38-yarder against Arizona State in the 2013 Holiday Bowl.
? Reginald Davis finished with 115 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, both of which that were career highs. His previous high for both categories was 73 yards and two touchdowns at Oklahoma State in 2014.
? Cameron Batson matched his career high with three receptions in his first career start at wide receiver. He also set a new career high with 29 receiving yards.
? The following Red Raiders set new career highs for tackles: Dakota Allen (12), Tevin Madison (11) and Jah'Shawn Johnson (16). Johnson stripped Alex Collins on his final tackle and recovered the fumble, sealing the win for Texas Tech.
? Jah'Shawn Johnson's 16 tackles marked the most for a Red Raider since Keenon Ward also had 16 against West Virginia in 2014.

? Texas Tech did not pick up a penalty flag until 4:33 remaining in the third quarter tonight. It was the longest the Red Raiders have gone this season without a penalty.
? Patrick Mahomes had a career-high 58 rushing yards on 10 carries, along with two rushing touchdowns, which equals a career high.
? Mahomes also completed 26 of 30 passes (86.7%), coming close to the school record for completion percentage, 90.9% by Seth Doege (40-44) against New Mexico, in 2011.
