CORAL GABLES, Fla.  – Texas Tech Lady Raider Basketball will face No. 21/22 Miami in the Thanksgiving Tournament championship game on Sunday.

The Lady Raiders hold a 2-0 record over Miami. In the last meeting, Texas Tech defeated the Hurricanes, 109-49, in Lubbock on Dec. 6, 2004.

The Lady Raiders advanced to the championship game after defeating Fordham, 59-50, in the weekend opener. Freshman Arella Guirantes led the Lady Raiders with her second double-double of the season, scoring 19 points and posting 12 boards.

Junior Jada Terry followed with her second double-double of the season, scoring 17 points and recording 10 rebounds for the Lady Raiders. Senior Ivonne CookTaylor also scored 10 points and tallied 10 boards for her first double-double of the season and fourth of her career.
