• Improved Texas Tech to a 6-1 start for the sixth time in the past seven seasons.
• Improved Texas Tech to 9-17 all-time in the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic (formerly the Houston College Classic).
• Extended Texas Tech's winning streak in the College Classic to three straight dating back to the 2014 victory over No. 10 Rice. It is the longest winning streak in the College Classic in school history.
• Improved Texas Tech to 1-1 all-time against Louisiana in the College Classic.
• Improved Texas Tech to 3-0 all-time in extra-inning games at the College Classic. The Red Raiders previously defeated Houston, 12-7, in 11 innings in 2004 and TCU, 2-1, in 10 innings in 2002.
• Improved Texas Tech to 51-35-2 all-time in extra inning games, including a 4-3 mark in neutral site contests.
• Improved Texas Tech to 2-3 all-time against Louisiana, including a 1-2 mark in neutral site games.
• Marked Texas Tech's third-consecutive win over a top-10 after the Red Raiders defeated No. 9 Houston on Friday and then-No. 2 TCU last season in the Big 12 Championship.
• Improved Texas Tech to 173-220 all-time against ranked opponents and 46-84 against teams ranked in the top 10.
• Marked the first time Texas Tech had defeated a top-10 ranked opponent in consecutive games since winning the final three games of the 2014 season-opening series against No. 3 Indiana (Feb. 15-16).

• Improved to 108-76 under fourth-year head coach Tim Tadlock.
• Improved to 3-2 in the College Classic under Tim Tadlock.
• Improved to 3-0 against top-10 teams in the College Classic under Tim Tadlock.
• Improved to 11-8 against top-10 nationally ranked teams under Tim Tadlock.
• Improved to 72-40 in non-conference games under Tim Tadlock.
• Improved to 10-8 in two-run games under Tim Tadlock.
• Improved to 1-0 against Louisiana under Tim Tadlock.
TEXAS TECH TEAM NOTES
• Texas Tech has now won five-consecutive games for the first time since winning six straight from Feb. 20-March 3 last year.
• Texas Tech's final two runs came on a Ryan Long two-run double in the 10th inning. The Red Raiders have now scored 26 of their 55 runs this season with two outs.
• The Texas Tech pitching staff held Louisiana to just a .118 average (2-for-17) with runners on base.
• Through three games on Texas Tech's current road trip, the Red Raider bullpen has allowed just one earned run over 15.2 innings.
• Texas Tech stole a season-high three bases in the victory.
Ryan Long
• Provided the game-winning RBI for the second-straight day with a two-out, two-run double in the 10th inning. He previously sent a two-run single through the right side in the sixth inning Friday against No. 9 Houston.
• Long now leads the Red Raiders with 10 RBI this season, eight of which that have come with two outs in the inning (team high).
• The multi-RBI game was Long's team-leading third of the season and eighth of his career.
• The multi-hit performance was his third of the season and 10th of his career.
Orlando Garcia
• Connected on his first home run of the season and second of his career with a towering solo shot in the sixth inning.
Tyler Neslony
• Posted his second multi-hit game of the season and the 43rd of his career after finishing 3-for-5 at the plate.
• Marked the seventh time in his career where he has recorded at least three hits.
Michael Davis
• Recorded his third multiple-hit game of the year and 10th of his career after finishing 3-for-5 overall.
• His three hits matched his career high he previously set twice during his 2015 freshman season, most recently against TCU at the Big 12 Championship (May 21).
Ryan Shetter
• Recorded his first career victory after tossing two shutout innings of relief.
Robert Dugger
• Provided 2.2 innings of relief, giving up an unearned run off three hits and three strikeouts.
