LUBBOCK, Texas – In front of a season-best crowd of 5,406, the Texas Tech Lady Raiders defeated Iowa State, 75-66, to stay undefeated at home.

The Cyclones (9-5, 0-3) jumped out to a 15-8 lead in the first five minutes of the game. But, the Lady Raiders (10-4, 2-1) responded with an 11-0 run to regain the lead just before Seanna Johnson knocked down a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Iowa State a 20-19 lead at the end of the first.

After allowing nine threes in the first half, the Lady Raiders held the Cyclones to 1-11 from beyond the arc in the second half. Another strong fourth quarter pushed the lead in Tech's favor as the Lady Raiders outscored Iowa State, 28-15.

Four Lady Raiders scored in double-figures against the Cyclones. Tech has had two or more players score double figures in 13 of the 14 games played. Sophomore Recee' Caldwell led the team with 22 points, marking her fourth straight 20-point game and ninth straight double-digit game.

Junior Larryn Brooks scored 11 points for her sixth double-digit game of the season.
