Lady Raiders Open Big 12 Play vs. Oklahoma State

LUBBOCK, Texas – Lady Raider Basketball is set for Big 12 Conference Play to begin as Texas Tech hosts No. 24 Oklahoma State on Thursday in the conference opener.

Tech (6-5) enters the league competition on a three-game win streak after defeating Incarnate Word, 80-54, just before the Winter Break.

Tech has scored 80+ points in three straight games and defeated all three opponents by 15+ points.

Four Lady Raiders scored double-digit points for the second straight game. In her first collegiate start, freshman guard Lyndsey Whilby led the team with a career-high 21 points, three rebounds and two steals.

Oklahoma State (9-2) enters Big 12 play on a three-game win streak that was started when the Cowgirls took down No. 7 UCLA, 87-72, in Stillwater.
