Lady Raiders kick off Kansas trip at Wichita State on Wednesday
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Women's Tennis team travels to Wichita State for a midweek match on Wednesday slated for 2 p.m.
This is the first of three matches in Kansas for Texas Tech (9-3). The Lady Raiders will begin Big 12 play on Friday at Kansas State and at Kansas on Sunday.
Wichita State (5-6) is the reigning Missouri Valley Conference Regular Season and Tournament Champions. The Shockers qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season, but lost to TCU in opening round.

Texas Tech climbed to No. 6 in the latest Oracle/ITA Rankings announced earlier on Tuesday after two sweeps over Top 30 opponents last weekend.
The Lady Raiders defeated No. 22 TCU in a non-conference matchup Friday before sweeping No. 29 Rice on Sunday.
