Women’s Tennis Falls to No. 31 TCU

FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 7 Texas Tech Women's Tennis Team fell to No. 31 Texas Christian University on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Raiders (20-4, 8-1 Big 12) lost 1-4 to TCU (13-7, 5-2 Big 12) to snap a 13 match-winning streak.
The Horned Frogs clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win on court one to take a 1-0 lead in the match.
TCU scored the next two points in singles play with two set wins over Katelyn Jackson and #120 Alex Valenstein.
Talaba earned the Lady Raiders' sole point of the match with a two-set win over No. 69 Seda Arantekin (6-3, 6-3).
The last point was earned when Donika Bashota secured a 6-4, 6-3 win over Sarah Dvorak to lock in the win for the Horned Frogs.

The Lady Raiders are set to host New Mexico on Thursday at 3:00 at the McLeod Tennis Center.
