Tech Launches Second Round of Big 12 Play at WVU

Red Raiders have already matched their 2017 conference win total with eight matches remaining.
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech volleyball begins the back half of Big 12 play Wednesday as it travels to Morgantown, W. Va., looking for the series sweep of West Virginia. First serve from WVU Coliseum is set for 6 p.m. ET.
The match will be streamed on Mountaineer.TV with live stats available through WVU.StatBroadcast.com.
The Red Raiders (15-7, 4-4) enter the second round of conference action having already matched its Big 12 win total from 2017. Tech is one of five teams tied for third in the league with a .500 record.
West Virginia (9-12, 1-7) is looking to get on track in the second half of league play. The Mountaineers suffered three five-set losses in the first half of its conference slate and picked up their lone win against Kansas State.
Tech is eyeing the series sweep over the Mountaineers after taking a 3-1 (25-16, 23-25, 25-23, 25-16) in Lubbock. The Red Raiders hold an 8-7 lead in the all-time series and are 2-3 against the Mountaineers under head coach Tony Graystone.
