Â
With four regular-season matches remaining, the Red Raiders (16-10, 5-7) are looking to get back following Wednesday's loss to Oklahoma in which they held a 2-1 lead before falling in five sets. Tech enters the week sixth in the Big 12 standings with critical matchups this week against the second-place Lady Bears and eighth-place Kansas State.
Â
The two teams met earlier this season in Waco for their Big 12 opener. Tech shocked the Lady Bears with a 3-1 (13-25, 25-11, 25-21, 25-18) victory for its first Big 12 ranked road win since 2004. Â
Â
The win extended Tech's lead in the all-time series to 50-33. Monday will be the 84th all-time meeting with the Red Raiders looking to capture their first season sweep of the Lady Bears since 2004.
Â
Baylor has been hot as of late and carries a five-match winning streak into Lubbock after a sweep at Kansas State on Saturday. The Lady Bears face a quick turnaround as Monday will be their second match in three days, their third in five days as well as their third road match in the last nine days.
