- This game will mark the 16th meeting between Texas Tech and Abilene Christian women's basketball programs and the fourth time since ACU became a Division I program.
- The last time the two met Texas Tech defeated the Wildcats, 71-65, in Lubbock (Dec. 5, 2015).
- The Lady Raiders enter the weekend on a three-game win streak after defeating Texas Southern, 75-55, last Saturday before the Christmas holiday.
