Lady Raiders Host K-State on Senior Night

LUBBOCK, Texas – In the final game of the regular season, Lady Raider Basketball will honor four seniors as Texas Tech hosts Kansas State on Monday for a 6:30 p.m. tip.

Lady Raider Basketball will be taking Pop-Tart donations for the Junior League of Lubbock's Food2Kids Program. Fans can bring one box of Pop-Tarts in exchange for a free ticket to the Kansas State game. The Food2Kids Program gives underprivileged local LISD kids food for the weekend.

The Lady Raiders return to the United Supermarkets Arena to host Kansas State on Monday for the regular season finale. Four student-athletes will be honored for senior night before the game.
This is the 34th meeting between the Lady Raiders and the Wildcats and the 33rd since the Big 12 began. The Wildcats lead the all-time series, 20-13, and hold a 9-6 record when playing in Lubbock.
In the first meeting of the season, Kansas State earned a 83-69 win over the Lady Raiders.
The last time the Lady Raiders defeated K-State in Lubbock was on Jan. 9, 2013, when Tech picked up a 59-50 win.
The Lady Raiders look to snap an eight-game skid after falling to Iowa State, 69-57, on Saturday. Sophomore Brittany Brewer led the team with 24 points and 13 rebounds against the Wildcats.
Kansas State enters the matchup on a one-game win streak after defeating in-state rival Kansas, 91-67.
