Red Raiders Set for Wes Kittley Invitational

Track & Field heads to ACU for the second weekend of outdoor
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech Track and Field travels to ACU for the Wes Kittley Invitational on Saturday.

The meet will begin on Saturday at 9 a.m. with the women's javelin and the 5000m run. Field and running events will run on a rolling schedule.

TOP PERFORMERS LAST WEEKEND
Last weekend, the Red Raider women's team finished second while the men's team placed third at the UTSA Invitational. Tech had 19 Top-3 finishes in the meet including two event champions.

Junior Caleb Richmond captured the 400m hurdles title with a time of 53.49.

On the women's side, Crystal Onwukaife led the team with a career best throw of 16.09m (52-9.50) to win the shot put.

The Red Raiders head to Austin, Texas, for the 91st Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays March 28-April 1.
