Texas Tech drops second loss to Top 15 opponent
COLUMBIA, S.C. – No. 20 Lady Raider Tennis suffered its second loss to a Top 15 team as Texas Tech fell to No. 15 South Carolina on Sunday morning.

Texas Tech moves to 3-2 on the season while South Carolina improved to 4-1 on the season.

The Gamecocks captured the first point of the match with two wins in doubles play. Lana Rush and Kennedy Bridgforth fell to No. 11 Gamarra Martins and Horvit, 6-1, before Olivia Peet and Francesca Sella dropped a 6-4 decision to Chinellato and Cline.

Freshman Olivia Peet tied the match at 1-1 with her 6-1, 6-4 victory over Rachel Rohrabacher on court six.

The Gamecocks went on to win three singles matches on courts two, four and five to clinch the 4-1 win.
