Texas Tech travels to Miami to face No. 17 Miami on Saturday, FIU on Sunday
LUBBOCK, Texas – No. 20 Texas Tech Women's Tennis (3-2) travels to the Miami, Fla., area this weekend to face off against No. 17 Miami (5-1) on Saturday and Florida International (1-3) on Sunday.

First serve is set for noon on Saturday at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center in Coral Gables, Fla.

This is the second meeting between the Lady Raiders and the Hurricanes. The Lady Raiders went toe-to-toe with the No. 11 Canes at the 2016 ITA Indoor Nationals. The Lady Raiders advanced with a 4-3 victory.

First serve against FIU is set for 10 a.m. CT at the FIU Tennis Courts in Miami, Fla.

This is the third meeting between the Lady Raiders and the Panthers. Texas Tech has lost the last two meetings including a 5-2 loss at FIU on March 18, 2005.

Texas Tech enters the weekend after dropping two straight matches last weekend. The Lady Raiders fell, 4-3, to No. 14 NC State on Friday before dropping a 4-1 decision to No. 15 South Carolina.

The Lady Raiders return to the McLeod Tennis Center on Friday, Feb. 15, to host Tulane and New Mexico for a doubleheader. Texas Tech will face Tulane at 11 a.m. before taking on New Mexico at 5 p.m.
