No. 27 Women’s Tennis to Face TCU on Saturday

Texas Tech travels to Fort Worth for first Big 12 road match
LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 27 Lady Raider Tennis team is set for their first Big 12 road match of the season as they travel to Fort Worth, Texas, to face TCU on Saturday.
First serve is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday.
This is the 37th meeting between the Lady Raiders (12-4, 2-0) and the Horned Frogs (10-4, 3-0) all-time and the second meeting this season. Texas Tech has won five of the last six meetings against TCU.
Earlier this season, the Lady Raiders defeated the Horned Frogs, 4-3, in Lubbock. The match came down to the No. 1 singles court as Felicity Maltby clinched the win with a 3-6, 6-2, 7-6(6) comeback win over Ellie Douglas.
The Lady Raiders enter the weekend on a five-match win streak after defeating Iowa State, 6-1, in the second Big 12 match of the season.
TCU enters the matchup on a four-match win streak, three of the four wins coming against Big 12 opponents. The Horned Frogs are also 9-0 when playing at the Friedman Tennis Center.
