Maltby Begins NCAA Singles Championship on Monday

ORLANDO, Fla. – Senior Felicity Maltby is set to begin competition at the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Singles Championships on Monday.

Maltby earned the No. 22 ranking after an outstanding spring season. She will face No. 18 Christina Rosca of Vanderbilt on Monday at 3 p.m. CT. This is the first meeting between the two.

The winner will advance to the Round of 32 to face the winner between Aiwen Zhu (UNLV) and Oleksandra Korashvili (Oklahoma) on Tuesday. Maltby has faced both athletes during the spring season.

The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 20-25 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.

Maltby has qualified for the singles competition the last two seasons. She has advanced to the round of 32 in both years.
