Texas Tech Athletics Celebrates 13 Fall Graduates

Riko Jeffers, Brian Klein and Jordan Harr are among the Red Raiders earning degrees this weekend
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech Athletics will have 13 of its student-athletes earn their degrees this weekend during commencement exercises held in front of a limited capacity inside United Supermarkets Arena.
The list of graduates include four members from the Red Raider baseball program – Ryan Keesee, Ryan Shetter, Brian Klein and Ryan Moseley – as well as five football student-athletes in Dawson Deaton, Riko Jeffers, McLane Mannix, Nick McCann and Desmon Smith.
Texas Tech will also have four other student-athletes walk the stage this weekend in soccer's Jordie Harr, men's track and field athlete Derrius Rodgers, women's track and field athlete Chelsey Cole and volleyball's Haley Harman.
Each of the Red Raiders graduating this weekend will be presented a special stole that signifies the individual's status as a student-athlete. The stoles are part of a recently-established tradition that began with the 2017 spring commencement ceremonies.
Commencement exercises began at 11 a.m. Friday morning with the Graduate School, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, College of Architecture and College of Arts and Sciences. A full commencement schedule can be found here.
