Vladislav Goldin Signs With Texas Tech

LUBBOCK, Texas – Vladislav Goldin has officially signed to play basketball at Texas Tech, head coach Chris Beard announced on Thursday. A 7-foot-1 center from Nalchik, Russia, Goldin has international experience playing for the Russian U18 and U19 National Teams along with one year of prep basketball in the United States.
Goldin played at Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut last year for coach Tom Espinosa after competing for CSKA Moscow Junior Team for three seasons. He played in 13 games at the U18 Euro Championship and U19 World Cup in 2019.
Goldin joins Mac McClung, Jamarius Burton, Marcus Santos-Silva, Chibuzo Agbo, Nimari Burnett, Micah Peavy and Esahia Nyiwe who have signed with the program. The Red Raiders advanced to the 2018 NCAA Elite Eight and 2019 NCAA National Championship Final before having their season 2020 season shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 recruiting class is ranked nationally at No. 10 by 247Sports, No. 14 by ESPN and No. 15 by Rivals.
