In the second half, TTU's first shot came on goal off the foot of defender Hiatt in the 59th minute as KU (7-10-1, 2-6-0 Big 12) responded with two shots – not on target – seconds later. In the 75th, Davis fired off a shot that took a diving save to the keeper's right side but she buried her second chance one minute later. Inside the 18-yard box on the left, Jordie Harr crossed a left-footed shot to Davis who one-timed it to the near-right post for the finish. It was her 14thscore of the season and the second assist of 2021 for Harr.ÂYup, there it is! @gissellekoz's 2nd goal of the season has given us the 1-0 lead. pic.twitter.com/1iXYyIeV2d

It would prove to be the game-winner as Kansas jumped on the board in the 80th minute to bring the deficit to one. The Red Raiders and their staunch defense staved off the Jayhawks comeback attempt, blocking three shots in the final 30 seconds to hold onto the 2-1 victory.Â77' | Make it 2-0!@kirstendavis22 slots one home for the 2-0 lead assisted by @Jordie_Harr pic.twitter.com/3ARTByLOPi
