RED RAIDER QUICK HITS
- Senior setter Alex Kirby is 96 assists away from entering the top 10 in program history in career assists, trailing Mary Loescher's 2,339. Kirby recorded her 2,000th assist in Tech's five-set win over No. 9 Baylor on Oct. 1 and will be honored before Friday's match with a ball honoring her achievement.
- Red Raider libero KJ Adams is not far from a milestone of her own, with 936 digs she is just 64 away from 1,000 in her career. She is also 52 digs from entering the top 10 in program history in digs in a season as she leads the Big 12 with 390 total digs. Last week against Kansas State Adams recorded 30 digs, a career-high and the first Red Raider with 30 digs since Emerson Solano posted 31 against Oklahoma in 2019.
- The Red Raiders are still within striking distance of the top half of the Big 12 standings with three weekends remaining in conference play. Though Tech currently sits in eighth place in the standings, the Red Raiders are just one match behind three teams and two matches back from the third and fourth place teams.
- TCU sits at the bottom of the Big 12 standings with two conference wins, one over Oklahoma and another over Kansas State.
- Tech and TCU have met 24 times, splitting the meetings with an even 12 wins for each side. Since joining the Big 12, the Horned Frogs have narrow 10-9 advantage in the series. The two teams split the series last season in Fort Worth with TCU winning the first match while Tech took the second.
