Texas Tech Announces Baseball Attendance Plan
February 24, 2021 | Baseball
Season tickets sold out, single-game tickets to be available for fans based on availability.
LUBBOCK, Texas – Due to precautions taken in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rip Griffin Park will be at a reduced capacity to begin the 2021 Texas Tech baseball season.
As a result, season tickets for the upcoming season have been sold out.
In order to service as many Red Raider baseball fans as possible, returned inventory that remains unclaimed two (2) days prior to a home game will be released at that time to the general public for purchase. Fans looking to secure a single-game ticket should visit TexasTech.com and follow @TTU_Baseball on Twitter as updates to ticket inventory will be shared on a game-by-game basis.
Student tickets will be general admission and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must swipe a valid Texas Tech student ID for entry. Student seating will be located in general admission areas as in years prior.
All tickets for the 2021 season will be delivered digitally in order to provide a safer and more secure way for fans to control their tickets. For additional information regarding the Texas Tech Athletics mobile ticketing platform, click here.
Those who receive tickets are required to follow CDC guidelines inside Rip Griffin Park. Face coverings (over the nose and mouth) will be required for all spectators and gameday workers. Guests may remove face coverings while actively eating or drinking.
Directional signage, stanchions and barriers will be installed to facilitate six-foot social distancing at entry gates, concourse pathways, concessions and merchandise queues and seating areas. Physical distancing will be maintained throughout the facility to the fullest extent possible.
As a reminder, season ticket holders who are unable to attend a game in which they have tickets are encouraged to utilize Texas Tech's mobile ticketing transfer platform to ensure their seats are used on gameday.
