Red Raiders Travel to Tarleton State for Midweek Match

Texas Tech volleyball will play Tarleton State in Stephenville on Thursday afternoon.
LUBBOCK, Texas – The spring volleyball season continues as Texas Tech (6-12) heads to Stephenville, Texas to face Tarleton State (10-7) on Thursday afternoon.
The match is slated for 4:00 p.m. and will be available to watch via live stream here.
The Red Raiders opened the spring schedule against Houston, splitting the series with the Cougars. Houston took match one in three sets, but the Red Raiders responded the next day with a five-set win on to snap the Cougars' eight match win streak.
Sophomore Reagan Cooper was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week on March 3 for her performance against Houston. The outside hitter set a career-high 11 kills with a .435 hitting clip in match one before besting her career mark with 15 kills in Tech's win in match two. She averaged 3.25 kills per set and a .350 attack percentage over two matches while adding seven blocks on the defensive end.
Texas Tech and Tarleton State have not faced each other in over 45 years, meeting twice back in 1975. The Red Raiders won both matches.
