Tech and TCU Clash at 6:30 on Wednesday night
FORT WORTH -- Â The Texas Tech Lady Raiders open a two-game roadtrip Wednesday night at TCU. Tip-off from Schollmaier Arena is set for 6:30 p.m. on ESPN +/Big 12 Now.
Following Wednesday's contest at TCU, the Lady Raiders will head to Lawrence to clash with Kansas on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Raiders recorded their second top-25 victory in four games, when they dropped No. 25 Kansas State 64-45 Saturday. In that game, Tech got off to roaring 10-3 start, and led 23-7 after one period. In the victory, three Lady Raiders reached double figures led by combo-guard Vivian Gray who scored a team-high 23 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Tech also received a career-high 16 points from guard Bryn Gerlich who nailed a career-best four shots from behind the 3-point arc. The real difference in the contest, was the Lady Raider posts. Led by forward Khadija Faye, Tech held projected First Team All-America candidate Ayoika Lee to just 12 points on 12 shot attempts. Lee was averaging over 24 points per game heading into the contest. Tech also defeated then No. 9 Texas back on Jan. 5 in Austin.

SCOUTING THE HORNED FROGS:
TCU enters Wednesday's game with a record of 5-8 overall and 1-3 in Big 12 play. The Frogs lone Big 12 victory of the season came last Wednesday night against Oklahoma State, 64-63. In that game, TCU erased an eight-point deficit at halftime, outscoring OSU 24-15 in the third period. Senior Lauren Heard and Tavy Diggs each recorded 20 points. After falling behind 41-27 with 8:33 to play in the game, the Horned Frogs used a 24-6 run to take a 51-50 advantage into the fourth. After OSU hit a triple to tie the game at 63, Lauren Heard hit one-of-two FTs to give her team the win.  Diggs has turned it on as of late, as the junior has scored at least 15 points in two of the last three games for TCU. Diggs scored 17 points in just 21 minutes against Iowa State back on Jan. 8. The Horned Frogs have lost to three of the best teams in the Big 12. TCU opened Big 12 play with a 78-47 loss at Iowa State, before falling to Kansas 78-72. TCU's other loss in conference play was to Oklahoma on Saturday, when they fell 100-71.
