
Red Raiders head to Dick McGuire Invitational

The event begins with 36 holes Monday and concludes Tuesday
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The No. 24 ranked Texas Tech women's golf program heads to Albuquerque this week for the Branch Law Firm Dick McGuire Invitational hosted by the University of New Mexico at the UNM Championship Course.
The 17-team field includes the host Lobos, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Ohio State and USC among others.
Monday's shotgun first round begins at 8:30 a.m. (CT) with the second round due to begin around 1:30 p.m. (CT). The Red Raiders are paired with host UNM and USC for both the first and second rounds.

The No. 24 ranked Texas Tech women's golf program finished sixth Sunday at the 2022 Carmel Cup played at Pebble Beach Golf Club. The Red Raiders were led by junior Gala Dumez who fired a combined three-round score of -1 to finish tied for sixth. As team, Texas Tech (+33) made the most pars (217) of any team in the eight- team field.
A pair of Red Raiders finished tied for 24th as sophomore Chiara Horder fired a final round 71 (-1) to finish at +9 overall. Horder recovered from an open round 81 to fire back-to-back strong rounds.
Freshman Lauren Zaretsky also finished tied for 24th, as the Canadian fired an even par round of 72.
