Red Raiders Set for Last Home Match of the Season

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Red Raiders will defend their home court for the last time this season as they welcome in the Oklahoma Sooners for a 2 p.m. match on Wednesday, Nov. 22 in the United Supermarkets Arena.
BY THE NUMBERS
The Red Raiders (10-18, 3-13) enter Wednesday's match having recorded 1,160 kills, 112 aces and 241.0 blocks to combine for 1,513.0 points so far this season.
Tech has also recorded 1,515 digs and dished out 1,064 assists.
Senior setter Reese Rhodes has led the charge in the assists department with 689 so far this season. The Waco, Texas native now sits just 35 assists away from hitting 2,000 for her career.
Junior libero Maddie Correa eclipsed 900 digs in the Red Raiders second game against Kansas State this past weekend as she racked up her 17th double-digit dig performance of the season.
Caitlin Dugan has been the anchor for Tech's offense this season, recording a team-high 354.5 points and 318 kills while being third on the team in blocks with 62.0.
Brynn Williams and Reagan Engler have had solid seasons as well, with Williams recording 326.0 points and 289 kills, both of which rank second on the team. Engler has made her presence felt on both sides of the net, recording 149 kills and 82.0 blocks.
SCOUTING THE SOONERS
Oklahoma (10-16, 3-13) comes in tied with Texas Tech in the Big 12 standings after splitting its two games with Cincinnati last weekend.
As a team, the Sooners have recorded 1,244 kills and 196.5 blocks due in large part to Alexis Shelton and Taylor Preston who have combined for 679 kills, over 54 percent of the team's offense.
Defensively, Lydia Burts sets the tone as she has recorded 102.0 blocks this season through 93 sets.
