LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech is set to host Oklahoma State in the regular-season finale at 5 p.m. on Saturday at the United Supermarkets Arena. Fans are encouraged to wear RED in a show of support.Â
The Red Raiders (16-14, 5-12 Big 12) are coming off a 67-63 loss at No. 3 Kansas on Tuesday, while the Cowboys (16-14, 7-10 Big 12) had their losing streak extended to five with a 74-68 loss to No. 7 Baylor on Monday. OSU had won five in a row before dropping five straight. The fourth game of that winning streak was a 71-68 win over Tech on February 8 in Stillwater. Tech was on a four-game winning streak until losses to No. 24 TCU last Saturday and to the Jayhawks who have secured the Big 12 regular-season championship.
"We know we're good enough to beat anybody," Texas Tech coach Mark Adams said. "We just have to close that margin. That thin line between winning and losing. That involves getting loose balls, shot selection, guarding. This last game is a big one for everyone. For seeding in the Big 12 and March Madness. It's a do-or-die situation. Our guys know that. We expect them to play well. Our coaching staff is excited about their attitudes and preparation for this game."
Tech is currently at No. 50 in the NCAA NET Rankings with a  5-12 record within Quad 1 games.

That involves getting loose balls, shot selection, guarding. This last game is a big one for everyone. For seeding in the Big 12 and March Madness. It's a do-or-die situation. Our guys know that. We expect them to play well. Our coaching staff is excited about their attitudes and preparation for this game."
