Lindsey named semifinalist for The Bowerman award

Lindsey will look to become the second men’s finalist in program history
NEW ORLEANS – Courtney Lindsey has been named a semifinalist for The Bowerman award – track and field's highest honor at the collegiate level – the organization announced Thursday afternoon.
Lindsey becomes the third semifinalist in the men's program history, most recently behind Moad Zahafi last season and Divine Oduduru in 2019. Oduduru went on to become a finalist.
The Rock Island, Illinois native turned heads at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships, claiming the 100m with his first sub-10 time of his career (9.89), while finishing runner-up in the 200m (19.86).
The Bowerman committee will announce three finalists on June 27.
