"The purpose of our race at Wyoming is to see where we are in our fitness, have a great experience in cooler weather and watch some Texas Tech football," head cross country coach Jon Murray said. "This will be the first time in the state of Wyoming for quite a few of the athletes so it'll be exciting to have them see a new place. Our training has been going well the last few weeks and we haven't backed down much for this meet. We're always aware of the bigger competitions coming in October and November."
