The Red Raiders are back in action next week in Missouri

HOBBS, N.M. – Five Texas Tech cross country runners wrapped up their individual races Friday morning at the New Mexico Junior College Invite at Harry McAdams Park.

"It was a strong race by the group," head cross country coach Jon Murray said. "This was a good step on their running journey."

The men ran an 8k as all three runners finished inside the top-10, led by Kirk Zuber who placed sixth overall with a time of 25:22.20. Timothy Gregg finished eighth (25:24.60) as Jaden Tumale placed 10^th (25:49.00). Zuber and Gregg recorded personal best times.

Sadie Williams and Valeria Banuelos represented the Tech women. Williams made her season debut running a 20:12.85 to finish sixth overall. Banuelos posted a time of 20:58.78 to finish 10^th.
