No. 17 MGOLF set for William H. Tucker Intercollegiate

The Red Raiders head to the Land of Enchantment to participate in the 20-team field
Albuquerque, N.M. -- The No. 17 Texas Tech men's golf team is set to head to Albuquerque, N.M. for its second tournament of the fall starting on Monday, the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate hosted by New Mexico. It will be a 20-team tournament that will consist of three rounds, two rounds will be played on Monday and the third round on Tuesday.
The Red Raiders tee off the opening round at 8:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start and will continue to round two once they conclude round one. The Red Raiders will finish the tournament with another shotgun start with a tee time of 8:45 a.m. CT for round three. Â
The Red Raiders were last in action, Sept. 9-10, at the Sahalee Players Championship and look to continue to carry the momentum built that kicked off the season with its sixth-place finish.
This will be the first time the Red Raiders head to Albuquerque to participate in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate.

Sophomore Matthew Comegys Â
This is Comegys' first visit to Albuquerque in his collegiate career. He is coming off of a top-40 finish in the Sahalee Players Championship. Â
Freshman Ben GreggÂ
Gregg will be playing in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate as an Indy. His scores will not be counted for the Red Raiders. Gregg also participated in the Papago Individual last week, he finished in second place by firing a 6-under-par 207. Â
Freshman Price HillÂ
This will be Hill's first collegiate team tournament. Hill Participated in the Papago Individual just last week where he finished in third place shooting a 4-under-par 209.Â
Junior Calum ScottÂ
This will be Scott's first time playing in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate. In Scott's last tournament, he competed in the Sahalee Players Championship and finished in the top-30. Â
Senior Baard SkogenÂ
This is Skogen's first time playing in the Willaim H. Tucker Intercollegiate. Skogen played in the Sahalee Players Championship where he had a top-40 finish.
Senior Tyran SnydersÂ
Snyders has never participated in this tournament. His last time out, he finished top-20 in the Sahalee Players Championship.

The Red Raiders will head to Fort Worth, Texas to play in the Ben Hogan Invitational, hosted by TCU. The event begins on Monday, Oct. 2, and will end the next day, Tuesday, Oct. 3. Â
