Red Raiders finish fall competition in Waco

WACO, Texas – The Texas Tech Red Raiders finished their fall season at the Brazos Challenge, hosted by the Baylor Bears, totaling seven wins on the weekend at the tournament.
In singles, both Felipe Pagnacco and Brody Nejedly-Krall led the team with two wins each. Pagnacco was able to defeat Roi Ginat and Martin Vergara Del Puerto of Arizona State by scores of 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 (4) and 6-1, 6-2, respectively. Nejedly-Krall recorded a couple wins, also getting one against Ginat of Arizona State, 6-2, 7-5, and against Baylor's Justin Braverman, 6-2, 0-6, 6-1.
In doubles, Pagnacco and Nejedly-Krall joined forces to take down the Sun Devil duo of Ginat and Del Puerto by an 8-5 score. In addition, Sebastian Abboud and Takeyasu Sekiguchi earned a win against the Bears tandem of Braverman and Luis Jose Nakamine, 8-5. Abboud would also tally a singles win in the tournament when he took down Braverman in come-from-behind fashion, 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.
