Notes:
- The University of Houston is set to host the Valspar Collegiate, an event the school has hosted since the 2013-14 academic year. Â
- The 54-hole event is set for 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday. After playing their first event this spring with 36 holes in a single day last time out, it will be back-to-back weeks for the Red Raiders' playing a 36-hole Monday followed by an 18-hole final round on Tuesday.
- Hosted at Floridian National Golf Club, situated near the Atlantic Ocean approximately an hour north of West Palm Beach, calls the Floridian Invitational, Floridian Cup, The Harmon, as well as the Valspar Collegiate, a few of its flagship tournaments.
- While the PGA hosts the Valspar Championship, March 21-24, it is hosted in the Tampa area on the west side of the state, opposite from the Valspar Collegiate. Â
- The Red Raiders competed in the Valspar Collegiate last season and earned a second-place team finish while former Red Raider Ludvig Aberg won the individual title.
- Tyran Snyders carded his career-low round at the 2023 Valspar Collegiate, firing a 7-under-par 64 in the event's second round. He used nine birdies en route to his 64.
- The 2024 Valspar Collegiate field is a star-studded field comprised of 16 teams, 11 of which are Top 25 teams while five are inside the Top 10 including No. 1 North Carolina, No. 3 Vanderbilt, No. 4 Arizona State, No. 5 Alabama and No. 9 Texas Tech (as ranked by Clippd).Â
- Last time out, Texas Tech won the All-American Intercollegiate, also hosted by Houston. The Red Raiders have won two events over their last three played - the event they did not win, Texas Tech finished as the runner-up.
- In the spring season's five events, the Red Raiders have carded par or better team scores in 12 of 15 rounds.
