PALM CITY, Fla. — Texas Tech senior Tyran Snyders used a 3-under-par 68 performance in round three of the 2024 Valspar Collegiate on Tuesday, propelling the senior into a tie for 15th place, capping his week at Floridian National Golf Club. Collectively, the No. 9 Red Raiders fired a 1-under-par 283 in round three, the team's best round at the event, and finished 12th on the team leaderboard. No. 11 Florida State claimed the team title after finishing the tournament 19-under-par. The Seminoles ended Monday with a six-shot lead at 10-under-par and retained it with a 9-under final-round performance.
After entering Tuesday 2-over-par after a pair of 1-over 72s on Monday, Snyders birdied five times during the final round and ended the tournament 1-under-par, rising 11 spots into a tie for 15th as a result.
