Notes:

Texas Tech sophomore Lauren Zaretsky will represent the Red Raiders in the 2024 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships, as an individual selection, at the Las Vegas Regional.
While 2024 snapped a streak of the Red Raiders qualifying for eight consecutive regional appearances (2015-23) as a team, head coach JoJo Robertson has qualified her team or an individual every season in her tenure since being hired in the summer of 2009. Tech's last time not qualifying as a team, and the only other time Robertson's Red Raiders did not qualify as a team was in 2014, but instead sent Kimmy Hill to the NCAA Central Regional.
UNLV will serve as the host school at Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas. The Rebels did not qualify as a team but did have an individual selected for the Las Vegas Regional in Toa Yokoyama, alike Zaretsky. Yokoyama will be the top-seeded individual in the tournament while Zaretsky is seeded third.
In Zaretsky's first NCAA postseason appearance last year as a freshman, competing with the team at the Pullman Regional, she finished tied for 56th carding a 9-over-par 225 (72-76-77). Later in the National Championship at Greyhawk, she was tied for 65th at the time the Red Raiders missed the cut for the fourth round. Zaretsky finished 6-over-par (70-75-77=222).
Zaretsky enters the Las Vegas Regional as the nation's 102nd-ranked player, per Scoreboard powered by Clippd.
Zaretsky leads the Red Raiders with a 71.5 scoring average this season through 10 events and 28 rounds. She owns five top 20 finishes in nine stroke play contests and claimed her first career win to kick off the spring season, Feb. 4-6, at the UCF Challenge.
Zaretsky's 2023-24 season boasts 16 rounds shot par or better and eight rounds carded in the 60s, both team bests.
In total, the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Committee announced 396 participants to compete at six different sites featuring 12 teams and six individuals. Regional play will take place May 6-8 at all six sites and the top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site will advance to compete in the national championship — meaning in order for Zaretsky to advance to the next stage, she will need to be the 54-hole individual leader versus the five others that qualified as an individual as well as being the low scorer among the players from the seven teams (35 individuals) that miss the cut for the national championships.
The national championships will be played May 17-22 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
